KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the Peterborough County OPP responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Highway 115 at approximately 2:00pm yesterday afternoon. Police say the vehicle was located and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of stolen property.
37 year old Randal Macdowall of Lindsay, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
• Possession of property obtained by crime-under $5000
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 21, 2021.
