Peterborough County OPP Looking For Information After Four People Injured In Crash On Highway 7

KAWARTHA LAKES-Peterborough County OPP is looking for information after four people were injured in a crash on Highway 7 on Sunday morning.

Police and emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision at approximately 3:30am yesterday morning on Highway 7 between the 5th and 6th Lines of Asphodel.

A motor vehicle was travelling on Highway 7 when it was involved in a single-vehicle collision. Two occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and one occupant suffered serious injuries.

Highway 7 was closed from 5:30am until 1:00pm as officers investigated the motor vehicle collision. A fourth occupant was located and transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The occupant that suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries has been transported to a Toronto area hospital for treatment.

Investigators are actively looking for information regarding this collision that occurred at approximately 3:30am yesterday morning on Highway 7 between the 5th and 6th Lines of Asphodel. The involved vehicle is a grey 2019 Nissan Kicks sport utility vehicle (SUV). The police urge the public to call in tips to the Peterborough County OPP at 705-742-0401, the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to Crime Stoppers.
