Four New Cases Of Coronavirus In Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting four new cases of Coronavirus in the City of Kawartha Lakes over the past two days.

There is currently 14 active cases of the virus in Kawartha Lakes and the health unit is tracking 59 high-risk contacts. There is one current “outbreak” at Crossfit in Lindsay. Mariposa Elementary School has been closed after one positive case of the virus. There’s also one case at LCVI in Lindsay.

To date, there have been 550 cases of Coronavirus in Kawartha Lakes including two cases of a “variant of concern”. The death toll stands at 55.
