OPP Investigating After Break And Enter Results In Extensive Property Damage

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a break and enter that resulted in extensive property damage.

Police say on March 5, 2021 the OPP attended the Gamiing Nature Center located on Pigeon Lake Road and initiated an investigation. The officer noted that entry was gained into an outbuilding and the exhibits were destroyed. It is currently undetermined when this occurred. Damage is estimated at $20 000.00.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcrimestoppers.com and submitting an anonymous tip online.
