Eight New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In Kawartha Lakes Over The Last Two Days

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting eight new cases of Coronavirus in Kawartha Lakes over the last two days.

There is currently 25 active cases of the virus in Kawartha Lakes with the health unit is tracking 61 high-risk contacts. There have been 524 cases of Coronavirus to date in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The health unit has done 137,819 Coronavirus tests to date with an average 702 tests done per day. Ross Memorial Hospital currently has one patient admitted with the virus.

The health unit does not release the specific location of the positive results.
