Arrest Made After Two Individuals Found Passed Out In Vehicle While Engine Was On

KAWARTHA LAKES – Kawartha Lakes Police Service has made a recent arrest after two individuals were allegedly found passed out in a vehicle with the engine running.

According to Police, on January 12 they received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a parked vehicle in a vacant lot on William Street North in Lindsay.

Police say an officer located the vehicle and found a male and female, passed out while sitting in the driver and passenger seat of the vehicle while the engine was left running.

After investigation, police say Eric Oswald, 33, of Peterborough has been charged with operation while impaired with alcohol and drugs. The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 11, 2021.
