Environment Canada confirms an EF-1 Tornado touched down in Kinmount

KAWARTHA LAKES-Environment Canada has confrimed an EF-1 tornado with maximum winds of 150 km/h touched down in Kinmount on Sunday.

The twister hit just before 5pm knocking down trees, pulling shingles from roofs and damaging buildings. Residents told Kawartha 411 you couldn’t even see out the window it was raining so hard.
