Heroin, crystal meth and brass knuckles seized in drug investigation in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Heroin, crystal methamphetamine and brass knuckles were seized during a drug investigation in Lindsay.

Kawartha Lakes Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a drug investigation on Monday January 6, 2020 and arrested two men for possession of crystal methamphetamine, heroin and brass knuckles.

Police say at 3:15pm drug investigators arrested the two men in the area of Fair Avenue.

29-year-old Stephen William Jackson of Lindsay has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

25-year-old Ronald Frank Escott of Ajax has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay on February 13, 2020.
