OPP looking to identify a vehicle that left the scene after a pedestrian was allegedly struck

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is seeking assistance with identifying a vehicle involved in a fail to remain incident.

Police say on March 22, 2019 at approximately 10:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to an incident on Pigeon Lake Road, east of Sturgeon Road, after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The newer model black sedan was last observed heading westbound.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
