Man suspected of drug trafficking in parking lot of Lindsay business

KAWARTHA LAKES-A former resident of the City of Kawartha Lakes is facing charges after allegedly being found with cocaine.

Police say on December 28th, 2018, at approximately 9:43 am, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service investigated a male party in the parking lot of a Kent Street West commercial premise.

The party was found to be in possession of cocaine with an approximate street value of $800 according to police.

28 year old Stephen Jackson, a former resident of the City of Kawartha Lakes, a current resident of the City of Kitchener, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, along with failure to comply with a probation order.
