KAWARTHA LAKES-On Sunday, October 11, 2026, members of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service Uniform Patrol were conducting proactive traffic enforcement in the City of Lindsay when they conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mary Street West and James Street after observing a Highway Traffic Act violation.
During the investigation, officers determined that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was under suspension according to police.
Aa result, a 27-year-old Lindsay man was issued Part III Notice and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to answer to the following Highway Traffic Act offences:Drive While Under Suspension, Fail to Surrender Insurance Card and Fail to Display Two License Plates.
