KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in an ongoing assault investigation.
On October 10, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded after an individual was allegedly assaulted on Francis Street in Fenelon Falls. The victim was reportedly punched in the face without provocation.
Investigators are releasing a photograph of a person they wish to identify in connection with the investigation.
The individual is described as:
• Male, white
• Approximately 6’0″ tall
• Medium build
• Wearing a blue/black plaid shirt
• Tattoo visible on the left hand
