KAWARTHA LAKES-Always dreamed of becoming an actor? Now is your chance.
Globus Theatre announced auditions for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, their annual panto tradition which takes the stage December 9th to the 20th. Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 4th from 3:00pm-5:00 and are open to enthusiastic young performers who are eager to be a part of this production.
There is a place for everyone in this fairy tale, and it is a fantastic opportunity for children ages 6 and up to work alongside professional actors and help in bringing this story to life! No experience is necessary, though priority in casting will be given to students of Globus Theatre’s School of Dramatic Art. Roles may be double cast, and performances will take place both during the day for schools and in the evenings for the public.
Globus Theatre also encourages anyone interested in working behind the scenes to apply! —whether painting scenery, building sets, finding props, sewing costumes, or doing make-up is your thing we would love to have your help.
