Compass Early Learning And Care Bringing New Infant, Toddler And Preschool Child Care To Omemee

“Increasing access for families to high-quality, affordable child care is a key priority for the City of Kawartha Lakes Children’s Services,” shared Alyson Traux, Manager of Human Services for the City of Kawartha Lakes. “With funding support from the Province of Ontario, and the Government of Canada, the City of Kawartha Lakes is proud to partner with Compass Early Learning and Care to meet the growing child care needs of families in this rural community. We look forward to continuing our longstanding relationship with the Compass team and eagerly await opening the doors on this beautiful space!”

The new Compass Early Learning and Care Omemee program will provide families with access to early learning and care in their local community, with programming designed to support children’s growth, development and well-being.  It will be located on King St. E in the former home of Christ Church.

In a statement by Compass ELC co-CEO, Ashley Collins said “We are grateful to be partnering with the City of Kawartha Lakes to be adding additional early learning and care spaces in the Omemee community.  We hope to honour the building’s history by preserving as much as possible during the transformation.”
