KAWARTHA LAKES-Parking lot improvements are coming to three municipal parking lots in downtown Lindsay starting Monday September 14, 2026.Â
Work will take place at:
- M5 – Cambridge Street and Peel Street
- M13 – Ridout Street
- M14 – Russell Street
The work is expected to take about three weeks, weather permitting.
The project includes repairs and surface treatments to improve the condition, safety and lifespan of the parking lots.
Please follow all posted parking and construction signs.
During construction, parts of the lots may be temporarily closed and fewer parking spaces will be available.
Residents, businesses and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and use other parking options where possible. Other options include:
- Public and permit-holder parking will remain available at other municipal parking lots in the area, although spaces may be limited
- Free two-hour street parking within the downtown core area
- Long-term street parking outside of the downtown core area
