PETERBOROUGH-On Wednesday, July 22 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Peterborough County OPP officers, along with local Fire and EMS, responded to reports of a propane explosion at a golf course located on Villiers Line, in Otonabee-South Monaghan.
A 63-year-old male from Warkworth, was transported from the scene by ambulance before being airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the explosion is ongoing and the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development has been notified.
