KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service officers received a report of a robbery at a Lindsay convenience store at 5:30AM on June 1. Upon arrival, officers obtained a description of the suspect and began searching the surrounding area. Shortly thereafter, officers located an individual matching the description nearby. Police say there was no weapon used in the incident by the accused and no money was obtained. Stolen property was located on the accused and seized at the time of arrest according to police.
The suspect was arrested without incident and has been charged with:
- Robbery
- Theft
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused is to attend court for the above offences.
