KAWARTHA LAKES-It’s back and better than ever! The Kawartha Lakes Country Living Show returns this weekend to Fenelon Falls from April 17-19th.
“We have new vendors this year so the arena is literally bursting with exhibitors this year,” said Marylee Boston, Show Manager, “We have a new activity for kids. We are bringing back the Princess Party but we are adding this really fun hair tinselling part of it that kids or the young at heart can can have a little tinsel and glitter and the White Cottage Cafe is back as our onsite restaurant.”
This year the show has 21 new booths for a total of 115 vendors featuring local trades, services and retail. The first 1,500 people will get a special swag bag and admission is by donation with all funds going into hosting next years show.
Thousands of people attend the yearly event which is a boost for local businesses.
“Some feedback that we get from vendors is that they get enough leads from the show to carry them through the season. We hear year over year that when people come to the show they are looking to make connections, to find a service or a trade or to buy something. So people come here with purpose so it brings a lot of value for the exhibitors in the show” said Boston.
The Wolf 101.5 live radio remote will be broadcasting from the show on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
The Country Living Show is presented by the Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce. It takes more than 30 local volunteers to put on the show each year making it truly a community event.
The Country Living Show runs from Friday April 17 to Sunday April 19 at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre and Arena.
