KAWARTHA LAKES-SOAR Group (Students Organize Awareness & Response) at Mariposa Elementary School raised money to help the local Humane Society.
Grade 8 student leaders Fionnuala and Emily M. raised a staggering $819.59 for the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes. How did they do that? They organized, promoted, sold, wrote notes, and delivered over 400 candy-grams.
“Incredible work! We appreciate support like this from the community so much!” said the Humane Society.
