Ampere in Lindsay has introduce two new no-cost youth after-school programs running from 4:00–5:30 PM at the Kawartha Lakes Makerspace & Skills Hub this April!
Wednesdays: PokéMath (Ages 6–8) Math is everywhere—even in our favourite games! Learners will explore probability, measurement, shapes, graphing, and basic addition and subtraction by connecting math concepts to the familiar world of Pokémon.
Thursdays: Science of Structures
(Ages 9–12) An engineering challenge series using everyday materials. Youth will design and build creative structures, then test them against wind, water, and weight—exploring real engineering concepts through hands-on experimentation.
