KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Community Foundation announced a new community initiative launching in March.
Together for Justice (T4J) is supporting the Kawartha Lakes & Haliburton Integrated Immigrant Services Association (KLHIISA) in delivering a free Immigration & Newcomer Education Workshop Series to help immigrants, refugees, international students, and migrant workers better understand healthcare, housing, employment standards, and legal rights.
Workshops will run from March through November 2026 at Ampere Kawartha Lakes Makerspace at 12 Peel Street in Lindsay and are free to attend (registration required).
