KAWARTHA LAKES-Local students can hit the books every Monday at Kindred Coffee Bar in Lindsay.
From 3-6 PM starting March 2, Kindred is hosting a Student Happy Hour + Homework Help Sessions! Officials say students from grades 8-12 or college can get help from other students with homework questions in math, sciences, languages and more.
Students can also earn OSSD volunteer hours by hosting a peer-tutor table and allowing other students to ask you questions in your subject of choice — if no one needs your help, simply complete your own studying while you volunteer!
While no purchase is necessary students can order from a new Student Happy Hour menu sponsored by Kawarthas’ online tutoring and literacy experts @thereadingschool.
Runs each Monday, March 2 – June 22 at 148 Kents Street West in Lindsay.
