NORTHUMBERLAND-Northumberland OPP is investigating an incident at Warkworth Institution in the Municipality of Brighton.
On February 14, 2026, shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers received a report regarding an altercation between two inmates where an edged weapon was involved. One person was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
An OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended the location to assist the investigation which is being conducted by the Northumberland Crime Unit.
