KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes has ended the Significant Weather Event that was declared on December 28, 2025 per O. Reg. 239/02 of the Municipal Act 2001 as of 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (today).
Officials say service levels for roads are now back to normal and the Minimum Maintenance Standards (MMS) and Council Policy targets are being met.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through this event.” said the City.
