Pickering Man Charged With Impaired After Complaints Of Erratic Driving On Highway 115

PETERBOROUGH-Officers from the Peterborough County OPP have charged a 44-year-old Pickering man with impaired driving after receiving multiple traffic complaints.

On Saturday November 22, 2025, at approximately 7:20pm, officers received complaints of a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 115 northbound approaching Peterborough. Officers located the vehicle after it exited onto County Road 28 and conducted a traffic stop. Police say after interacting with the driver, the officer determined them to be impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the Peterborough County OPP detachment for further testing.

Scott Lowry of Pickering, ON., was arrested and charged with;

• Operation while impaired

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 23, 2025.
