He discovered his big win while checking his ticket at the store. “I shared the news with my family and friends, and everyone was so excited for me,” he said while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.
Cody plans to save his winnings for the time being and will take some time to consider how to make the most of his prize. “I feel pretty good,” he smiled. “$50,000 will do just fine!”
The winning ticket was purchased at Mister Convenience on Monaghan Road in Peterborough.
