KAWARTHA LAKES-The Northumberland OPP has charged a Kawartha Lakes resident after a dispute on Many 16th.
Police say shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of occupants in a vehicle who were engaged in a dispute on County Road 45, in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand.
Officers located the vehicle which was stationary and pulled over to the side of the road. Following initial investigation, OPP took one person into custody and there were no injuries reported.
As a result, a 35-year-old male, from the City of Kawartha Lakes, has been charged with:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Assault
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Dangerous operation
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Mischief – destroys or damages property.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date. The accused cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim.
