BANCROFT-The Bancroft OPP has charged one person following reports of harassment.
In March, Bancroft OPP received a complaint of harassing communications in which an individual was warned to stop communicating with the victim.
On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, police were notified that the communication had allegedly continued.
As a result, on May 7, 2025, Trixie Thompson, 54, of Quinte West was charged with harassing communications.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on June 3, 2025.
