BANCROFT-A Bancroft woman has been charged with failing to comply with a release order.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025, officers were conducting an investigation in the Town of Bancroft, and determined that an individual was not abiding by the conditions of their release order according to police. On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the accused was arrested and transported back to the detachment.
Ashley Shaw, 34, of Bancroft has been charged with:
· Failure to comply with undertaking
· Failure to comply with probation order – 11 counts
The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on May 9, 2025.
