KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is looking for witnesses or video of a serious collision involving three vehicles, east of Lindsay on Monday morning..
At approximately 7:00 a.m., members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP, with assistance from Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a collision on Highway 7, between Slanted Road and River Road.
Police say the driver, a 21-year-old male from Peterborough was airlifted to a Toronto area Trauma Center where their injuries were reported as life threatening. The other drivers, a 74-year-old male from Fenelon Falls and a 59-year-old male from Cameron, were transported to a local area hospital.
The highway was closed for several hours while the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team processed the scene. The road has since been reopened.
