Police Investigating Assault In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to an assault in the area of Queen Street and St Paul Street, in Lindsay on March 17, 2025 at approximately 2:48pm.

Witnesses reported that a male victim was chased down by four suspects and assaulted in the parking lot of a local business.  During the assault a weapon was used injuring the victim.  The suspects then fled the area in a blue sport utility vehicle.

The Criminal Investigations Branch is continuing to investigate the incident.

Anyone who may have video surveillance in the area, witnessed the incident or has any information which may assist in the investigation are asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch at 705-324-5252 or Kawartha Haliburton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477
