KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS) Drug Enforcement Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a Lindsay residence On February 6th 2025.
Police say as a result of the investigation two people were arrested and the following seized:
- Cocaine 365 grams
- Canadian Currency ($2705)
- Replica firearm
The approximate street value of the seized drugs was $36,000 according to police.
21-year-old Malik Blake from Oshawa has been charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation
23-year-old Dominic Nieminen of Pickering has been charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation
Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent St West in Lindsay.
