KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha LakesOPP (OPP) along with Fire Services, responded to a structure fire in the Snug Harbour area this afternoon.
Upon arrival, Fire Rescue had already successfully extinguished the fire.
The OPP and fire officials are actively investigating the incident, and an increased police presence is expected in the area of Snug Harbour as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
