Winter Weather Travel Advisory Issued For Kawartha Lakes For Tonight Into Wednesday Morning

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Winter weather travel advisory in effect for Kawartha Lakes with total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm possible, reduced visibility at times in snow tonight into Wednesday morning.

Snow will quickly move into the area from the northwest this evening and then continue tonight as an Alberta clipper low moves through. Snow will taper to flurries Wednesday morning.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
