Suspicious Person Call Results In Charges For Trent Hills Man

PETERBOROUGH-One person has been charged with failing to comply with a release order after being found without their surety according to police.

On Saturday December 14, 2024, at approximately 12:45am, the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for a ‘suspicious person’ who had been sitting in a vehicle outside a business. Employees of the business were concerned for the well being of the individual who appeared to be passed out.

OPP officers attended the location, finding the individual seated in the vehicle which appeared to have significant damage to it. Officers spoke to the person and after obtaining identification, determined them to be in breach of a release order. The individual was arrested at that point.

37-year-old Kyle Langford of Trent Hills, ON., was arrested and charged with failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

The accused was held for Bail.
