Police Release New Photo Of Vehicle Possibly Involved After Shots Fired In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Police have obtained a better photograph of the vehicle involved where shots were fired in Lindsay.

On Wednesday December 4th, 2024 at approximately 3:10am Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a report of gunfire in the area of William Street and Bond Street in Lindsay.

Police received multiple 911 calls indicating that 5-6 shots had been fired and a white SUV had been observed speeding away from the scene.  The vehicle was last observed south bound on William Street.

Police checked the area and ensured that no one had been injured as a result of the incident.  There is currently no threat to the public and police believe this is a targeted incident.  It is early in the investigation; police are requesting people in the area to check video surveillance. If anyone witnessed a white SUV travelling at a high rate of speed, please also check dash cam video.
