Northumberland Man Wanted In Connection With Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigation

ONTARIO-The OPP has issued a warrant for 29-year-old Brandon Anderson-Groves of Northumberland in connection with an outlaw motorcycle gang investigation.

Four members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (MC) and one member of the Red Devils MC have been charged with robbery and a total of 17 firearms, ammunition and other prohibited devices were seized following a September 2024 incident in Cambridge.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)-led Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU), in collaboration with Cambridge OPP Detachment and Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS), began an investigation after a robbery took place on September 21, 2024, in Cambridge.

As a result, on October 17, 2024, members from the OPP-led BEU and WRPS Emergency Response Team executed two search warrants in Cambridge and Kitchener. As a result of the ongoing investigation, on October 24, 2024, two additional search warrants were executed by members from the OPP-led BEU, Huron/Perth OPP Community Street Crime Unit and Durham Regional Police Service in Seaforth and Whitby.

 

The search warrants resulted in the seizure of:

  •         17 firearms
  •         A prohibited device (“get back whip”)
  •         Ammunition
  •         Nine magazines
  •         Multiple cell phones
  •         Possession and Acquisition Licences (PAL) from two Hells Angels MC members
  •         Three Hells Angels MC vests
  •         A quantity of unknown pills
  •         Stolen property

A total of 14 charges were laid against five individuals. Four were arrested and subsequently released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kitchener on November 26, 2024.

Anderson-Groves is currently outstanding on a robbery charge and an arrest warrant has been issued.
