Peterborough Resident Is $500,000 Richer After Winning The Maxmillions Prize

PETERBOROUGH-Lisa Martini-Dunk of Peterborough can realize some of her dreams after winning a $500,000 MAXMILLIONS prize in the October 15, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

Lisa, an artist, has been playing the lottery with OLG for the past few years. She especially enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49. An email from OLG recently notified the self-described dog mom of her first big win!

“I logged into my OLG.ca account and thought it said I had won $500,” Lisa said, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings. “Then, I noticed the additional zeros. I felt like I was dreaming and got up to get my glasses so I could see better,” she laughed. “Even then, I didn’t believe it! I asked my family to review the email, and my OLG.ca account. Once we were all convinced the win was real, we were so excited!”

With her windfall, Lisa will become mortgage-free. “I’ll put the rest aside as I figure out my next steps. I may travel and complete some home renovations,” she concluded.

“This win feels like freedom. It feels like a gift and a blessing. My heart is full of gratitude,” Lisa smiled.

The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
