OPP “Gravely Concerned” About Fenelon Falls Man Missing For Over A Year, $10,000 Reward Offered

KAWARTHA LAKES-It’s been just over a year since Michael Walker was last seen or heard from and the OPP is “gravely concerned” about the Fenelon Falls man.  A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his whereabouts.

Michael James Walker was reported missing on January 7, 2024 by family members who had not seen or heard from him since November 6, 2023. Police say his last known location was at a party in Norland.  To date there has been 15 tips in the case and police say they have followed up on each one with no results. Officers have conducted multiple search efforts and continue to attempt to locate Walker.

There are concerns for his safety and well-being, as it is unusual for him to go so long without contacting his family.

Michael was 57 years old at the time of his disappearance and is described as a white male, approximately 6’3” (191 cm) and 325 lbs (147 kg), with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance he had an overall unkept appearance, a scar on his right cheek, and may have been wearing a dark blue hoodie and track pants.

“Bring Them Home,” a non-profit organization that assists families of people who have gone missing, has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Michael’s whereabouts.
