KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating an armed robbery at a business on Highway 35.
On November 5th 2024, at approximately 1:37am officers responded to a robbery at a business on Hwy 35 south in OPS Township. Information received was that a male attended the business and brandished a knife demanding money. Police responded and checked the area. Ontario Provincial Police K-9 unit also attended and searched the area. However, the suspect was not located.
The Kawartha Lakes Criminal Investigations Branch continues to investigate the incident. A photograph of the suspect has been attached from the business CCTV.
