KAWARTHA LAKES-A 30-year-old Omemee man is facing charges after police received a report about reckless driving.
On Tuesday October 29th, 2024 at approximately 12:40pm Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call regarding a vehicle which was driving recklessly in the area of Angeline Street north in Lindsay.
Information received was that the vehicle had struck another vehicle. Police located the suspect a short time later The driver was arrested and charged operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
Police say it was later determined that the driver was three times over the legal limit. In addition to the charge the driver received a 90 -day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7-days.
The accused will all appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on December 12th 2024.
