PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Lakefield Monday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of Queen Street and Concession Street in Lakefield at approximately 5:00pm on October 21.
Two people, an 81-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man, were taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre. The woman was flown to a Toronto hospital for further treatment of her injuries.
The Traffic Unit was called in to complete a reconstruction investigation. The road was closed for about four hours. There’s no word on charges.
