Fire Crews Battle Blaze At The Wing House In Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-A fire broke out this afternoon at the Wing House Restaurant in Fenelon Falls.

Chief Terry Jones says the fire began outside the building and worked its way into the kitchen area. Crews from Fenelon Falls, Cameron and Coboconk responded to the blaze and were quick to knock it down.

Damage is pegged at around $75,000. No one was injured. The cause has been deemed accidental.

Firefighters battled another blaze on Sunday on St David Street in Lindsay. The building was vacant and under renovation at the time. The cause has been deemed suspicious and is under investigation by the Kawartha Lakes Police Service and the Fire Marshal.

Damage is estimated to be about $100,000. No injuries were reported.
