Two Local Men Making Their Pitch On Dragon’s Den Thursday Night

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two local men are entering the Dragon’s Den on Thursday night in hopes of making a deal for their business.

Drew Butterworth and Lloyd Arbour grew up just outside of Lindsay. They have been friends since they attended Mariposa Elementary School and later Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational School.

Fast forward a few years and the lifelong friends are now business partners. They founded a company called Goodvibes Juice Co. It produces the popular Sick Day shots as well as Tumeric Daily and Get Well drinks using all-natural ingredients such as cayenne, echinacea, lemon, ginger and more.

Goodvibes Juice Co. is a cold-pressed juicery located in Kitchener. The concept is to create beverages that harness the natural benefits of fruits, vegetables, teas and herbs.
Their mantra is, “LET FOOD BE THY FRIEND” in reference to the famous Hippocrates quote, “LET FOOD BE THY MEDICINE AND MEDICINE BE THY FOOD”.

Goodvibes Juice Co. has partnered with 4ocean to have their products recognized as plastic-neutral. Through an audit of their packaging and business scale 4ocean will remove one pound of plastic from the ocean for every one pound of plastic they use. To date, 4ocean has removed more than 30 million pounds of trash from the world’s oceans, rivers and coastlines.

You can watch the Goodvibes pitch on Thursday, October 3 on CBC’s Dragon’s Den.
