KAWARTHA LAKES-A 22-year-old from England is facing an impaired driving charges after being stopped by police in Lindsay.
On Sunday August 18th, 2024 at approximately 7:30pm Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call regarding a possible impaired driver in the parking lot of a business in Lindsay. Police located the suspect vehicle a short time later.  The driver was arrested and he was charged with operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
In addition to the charges, the driver received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7-days.
The accused will all appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
