KAWARTHA LAKES-Haliburton Highlands OPP charged a Bobcaygeon man as a result of a motor vehicle checked during a RIDE program.
Officers were conducting a RIDE program at Highway 118 and Glamorgan Road intersection on June 3 shortly after 11:30pm. A vehicle was stopped which allegedly contained cannabis readily available to the driver. Further investigation by officers resulted in the seizure of three firearms.
37-year-old Michael Green of Bobcaygeon has been charged with Unauthorized possession of a firearm and drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden on August 7, 2024
