UPDATE: Four People Taken To Hospital In Crash On Highway 7 In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a motor vehicle collision that took place around 11:13 am today.

Police, fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 7 and Dew Drop Inn. Four people were transported to local hospital with minor injuries. One person was transported to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries.

Hwy 7 remains closed between Monarch Road and Greenfield Road while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has video/dash camera footage of the collision and has not spoken with police is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
