KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a Domestic disturbance call at 2:30am on May 6 in the area of Pottinger street in Lindsay. Upon arrival officers say they located an injured male party who was transported to Ross Memorial Hospital by Kawartha Lakes Paramedics and treated for his injuries.
A 21-year-old Lindsay female was located and after an investigation, she was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Assault with a Weapon.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
