KAWARTHA LAKES-A 36-year-old Fenelon Falls man is facing charges after a traffic complaint.
On May 04 at approximately 5:16pm, Kawartha Lakes OPP officers responded to a call for service regarding a driving complaint. Through investigation the driver was arrested and charges for impaired driving offences.
Joseph Armstrong, 38-year-old of Fenelon Falls, was charged with Operation While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration over 80 and Dangerous Operation.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.
Police say if you plan on drinking or consuming drugs, plan to not drive. Instead, arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, or come up with another plan that takes impaired driving out of the picture.
