KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that took place around 1:38pm on Saturday, May 4.
Police, fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle collision on Mount Horeb Road near Lilac Road. The driver of the motorcycle, a 73-year-old male from Pontypool, was pronounced deceased in hospital.
Mount Horeb Road was closed between Hogsback Road and Old Mill Road while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
